Default Changing Single layers in RSRD..help.

Much as I love RSRD and how accurately(most part) it recreates IJN convoys in each year of the war, the single merchant and tanker layers drive me crazy, esp in later war when it was rare to catch a ship of any value without one escort(usually 2 or 3 because escorts were somewhat plentiful but merchants were not) .For example, current career off China Coast in March 1945, ran into two 10000 ton tankers without an escort lol. Also the singles rarely ran the open ocean in later war and hugged the coasts as convoys did.

RSRD is weird about making change.I tried a simple fix as I once did with TMO alone(just added escorts via the ME) but this caused a lot of lag when loaded the game up after adding them in RSRD, while worked fine in TMO alone.

I then tried to delete the current groups and add my own but RSRD will not allow this because if try to create a random group to spawn generic merchant, it set the speed at 0 knots and can not change it in the ME or the waypoints.

So then I decided I would build my own layer and replace the layer in RSRD with it but alas, the speed defaults to 0 knots unless you select a specific merchant and not a random one.

Any advice?? I want some single merchants in later war but with escorts, esp ships making coastal runs in Japan as they did.Something that has been missing for a long time, def want to change it.Anyone? Thanks in advance.
