Default Songs you never get tired of.

We were chatting about this at work the other day. What songs can you listen to without ever getting tired of them. A few for me are:

Don Henley: The Boys of Summer

Riverband: Cool Change

China Crisis: Arizona Sky

China Crisis: Black Man Ray

I'm sure there are others but those are the ones that first come to mind for me.

Slave - Slide (Subsim needs a black dude with Afro smiley)

David Gray - Sail Away

Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Plenty more but mainly anything from Pink Floyd is good for the soul.

I was going to make a list, but I realized I have almost 400 different artists in my collection, and as a completist I try to have everything they released, and I don't have artists I don't like so I kind of never get tired of any of it. I have certain favorites, and everybody has some songs that I like more than others, but I usually listen to whole albums, so I can't say much more than that.

Me too, but just the german lyrics version. ("99 luft Balons") The english version seems a bit of a rape because of the translation.

Lookie here, someone who knows where the good stuff is!

I would also add The River, Seeger Session version:

And when it comes to Backstreets, I prefer the liveversion from Hammersmith Odeon '75.

Then we got pretty much every song from Darkness on the Edge of Town, (perhaps with the possible exception of Prove It All Night).

Anything by the Beatles, and many great songs by the Rolling Stones as well, Honky Tonk Woman, Monkey Man, Gimme Shelter, they sure have som immortal classics!
