My girlfriend laptop has this problem: every time the accents keys are press two simbols appers insted of one, like this ``. After running the anti-virus, the removal tools from kaspersky, online scans from eset, anti-malaware software, crapcleaner etc, the problem still exist. Noting is detected by the several programs.
