Hey there,

Although I'm not very experienced (yet

), I mostly try to line up in a 90 degree angle to the ships. That way you've got the largest surface to hit the ship.

Maybe the real experienced guys around here can give you more advice.

Check out these videos. Stoianm provides plenty of advice on hunting convoys. It's not strictly necessary to be at 90 degrees to convoy's course, but it does simplify things a lot.
