Default Mod conflict question - specific

Anyone out there use both the No Continuous Ship Spotted and the 16km Stay Alert mods? If so, in which order do you load them in JSGME?

When I compared them, they each overwrite many of the same files.

I'm leery of combining the desired aspects of each into one mod without a better working knowledge of modding in general.

I don't think they are, or can be made, compatible.
