Default Bigfoot biologist

okay, its Animal Planet's new show, so take that with a grain of salt. Well, they were presenting this bigfoot show, like it was a real, known animal, the Florida skunk ape. So after the show, I looked up the "skunkape on the internetz. This is from wiki (so it must be true)

Quote:
"Swamp ape" redirects here. For the Miocene primate, see Oreopithecus.

The Skunk Ape is a hominid cryptid said to inhabit the Southern United States,[1] from places such as North Carolina and Arkansas, although reports from Florida are most common. It is said to be closely related to the Hapes of the Gulf coast region as they both share similar characteristics, although Hapes are vampiric whereas Skunk Apes are not known to be. It is named for its appearance and for the unpleasant odor that is said to accompany it. According to the United States National Park Service, the skunk ape exists only as a local myth.[2] Reports of the Skunk ape were particularly common in the 1960s and 1970s. In the fall of 1974, numerous sightings were reported in suburban neighborhoods of Dade County, Florida, of a large, foul-smelling, hairy, ape-like creature, which ran upright on two legs.
My first thought was, it must be Yubba.

So it only took 30 mins until the show went off on how man was destroying its "habitat", and we are living in it's space. The funny thing was, the "biologists" sure seem to know a lot about "this animal" (which is a myth), such as how it communicates, why it smells, and so on, but they seemed pretty limited on their skill setz (scientific method). They sent on othe the people out in the woods by themself with no light, and another stayed back at the house (where the sightings had occured) with an infared camera. So the dude with the camera made some calling grunts, and of course, they hear something... Just as the guy sees something on the camera, he falls off the deck, and the creature runs away.

Frankly, I learned more about the creature from this show:

(no yubbas were harmed in the making of this film)

So now, I can see where we're going with all this. If they find a "snunk ape", they can seize land and delare it "bigfoot habitat", no developement.

So the bigfoot is a biologist? That explains a lot of things
