Help guys,

1.4 and running only PE but this was before I'm sure you probably know it.

How do I remove it?

Never seen anything like that before.
Is it only on that one screen?

Might be PE, try uninstalling PE and see. Maybe download a fresh PE mod and install. PE is a very stable mod so it may be something corrupt.

What screen res are you using?

Can you not adjust the lines by dragging them or are they fixed? I see a tab on the right, doe's that close the box all the way or make it smaller. I don't use PE, but don't recall that when I used it, any other mods that may be causing it?

yes, only the TBT has this. This was in stock 1.4 too, without mods.

no mate, its a black transparency, much like the info box but, it obscures that TBT, so I cant see well when the boat rocks on surface.

OH, you highlighted the issue in red?

Are you still in stock, seems the horizon was blacker. If you're running PE without problems, have you tried Real Enviroment instead.

Hi Solo. I'm running Real Env w'GFO, this may sound weird but have you tried adjusting the gamma just to see if the problem lies in the game or on the box. I hope I am seeing the problem correctly. It appears that the upper portion of the TBT screen is very black.
I'm trying some experiments to see if I can replicate it.

hey dogfish, its not gamma as a screen shot at highest (brightest) gamma seems to reproduce the above image only lighter. I tried screenshooting but it produces the exact image above.

PS: I was wrong, I'm running 1.3 not 1.4

Oww...1.3
Is there a particular reason not to go to at least 1.4? It probably won't cure this thing but 1.3 is still so buggy that gameplay, sound files and graphics are all affected. Anyway, I'm still going to try and get this to reproduce cause it looks familier. I can use my old laptop to install the basic game. We'll see.
