Lost voices/text confirmation

Hi Folks,

It's been a while since I played SH5 and I recently reinstalled the game and some of the fine mods created by this community.

However, I keep running in to an old bug, where I lose most voices and text confirmation. For instance making speed changes gets confirmed by both voice and text, currently neither show up. Interacting with NPCs still results in voice dialogs, but beyond that, its very silent.

It doesn't happen all the time, but when it appears its a real struggle in getting rid of it. Restarting the game, loading different save games and keeping my fingers crossed is the current way I get rid of it, but it's a royal pain in the <beep>. I've had this bug with no mods running so I'm pretty sure it's not caused by any of my mods.

I'm pretty sure this bug is known to the community, however searching the forums for it didn't yield many useful results worth looking at.

I can't recall if I was able to fix this no voices/text bug or if there was a more fool proof way to get rid of it, instead of my trial and error save game loading attempts.

I'm hoping the community can assist.
