Default Girls Girls Girls I am back yet again.

Howdy kindered killers, I was just fitting out my boat and crew
and realized I can no longer get this Clean Balao skin from Foobor

Does anyone have a copy for balao ?
Regards to all

A shame all of Foo's Skins and the Kill Flag's stuff was not fully saved. Both were excellent mods.

Much has been lost and forgotten, but I still have the One Ring to rule
them all , somewhere
in my ready room.

I still have the Redfin Paint too.

Great news Mush. Now upload it to SubSim Downloads so it doesn't get lost.

I think it's very generous of members at their own expense to set up sites for downloads.

But... Real life issues can and do cause these to close.

Neal's been here along time and I don't see him disapearing in the forseeable future.

Just a thought...

Glad your back. You among only a few kept a positive attitude when SH4 first came out.

She was alittle bit of a problem child. But look at her now !!!

Thanks FW but really optimism wasnt even necessary it was inevitable
that SHIV would become the bell of the Ball.

after all a fleetboat is no mere Uboote.

that said, the mark still remains III+GWX and IV has never had
the type of support that can drum up such a work of art.

Personally though, I dont find anyshortcomings in the version
I play and thats a few back now.

basically 1.4 + RFB + RSRDC + Mush's more subtle tweaks.
No nukes no warp drive, but a rig that can handle 8192 time compression.

Re SHV, Subsimmers are basically lone hunters, tying their game engine
to online seemed a silly idea for the market they were trying to reach.

just a thought.

what was neat about coming back was that within three threads from the top and two posts
from there I found a link to my tutorial still being passed around after all this time. that was a good
feeling, What Uberboot for III taught me was mods are support intensive and tutorials arent.

Though still far from being perfect, SHV in its present state ( modded ) is
actually a lot of fun. In time it should be on par with 3 and 4

The constant connection is no longer required, only on start-up. Hopefully in time the start-up bit will go as well.
