Default Review and opinion wanted on Unimax forces of valor 1:32 KV-1 and KT Porsche Turret

Anyone has them?

I'm interested in your opinion on the 1:32 King Tiger Porsche turret and KV-1.

I'm usually a sophisticated model collector, sophisticated enough to avoid forces of valor(I even gave away my brand new 1:35 Dragon Tiger I model because I was disappointed by it especially the material being mostly plastic and the weathering being sloppy to me, sloppy as in being too tidy in a bad way.It got weathering and paint chips but it jus didn't feel and looked right). But now I can't no longer get my hands on Minichamps tanks. And the KV-1 and KT Porsche turret don't seem bad. Like always from Unimax they seem a little sloppy for my taste but I might just consider them. Your opinion is highly appreciated.

The Pershing looks good but they are not stocked.

No one? I tried looking for review online but have found none.

It seems people are buying these to give to their kids.

Indeed forces of valor seems to be aimed towards kids and younger adults but what I want to know is whether it is good enough as a collectible instead of toys. I never play with my models. They just sit there for visual enjoyment

They look good to me.

The Panzer IV got a good review by this guy:

Obviously if you're looking at the RC tanks then there's going to be some degradation in quality as I think they are primarily aimed towards a younger audience (not that I'd pass one up if it was given to me, particularly if it came with sounds), however the die-cast models do appear to be of good quality although I cannot say for certain in regards to the KV-1 and the KT Porsche because I do not have them, nor do I have any Forces of Valour models, alas...but I will be looking into them in the future, that is certain.

Thanks Oberon I already watched that youtube clip and yes the Pz. IV does look good.

The thing with forces of valor is they look decent from distance. It's the details that they often end up being a rather sloppy a little all in their casting, material and finishing.

Minichamps are not great either for its finishing being too bland and with its unpainted tracks for its early models. But they give you great feel for its all metal material and wheel suspension(You can actually feel the quality put in). Their newer models with painted tracks now those are really GREAT, combining feel and look creating a truly collector item.

What I'm interested is a detailed opinion and review usually from an owner. Can't find that for either the KV-1 or the KT.
