Gaddafi son, grandsons killed in strikes

"This was a direct operation to assassinate the leader of this country," he stated.

Didn't the white house spokesman said a week ago after Qaddafi's"s palace was bombed that NATO is not actively working for regime change?
(targeting Qaddafi)
Just defending civilians against Libyan army.

It would make more sense if they just said that there is no "no fly zone".
At least Bush when he did something he admitted he did it-(more or less).

I have no sympathy for Qaddafi its just an observation.

Me neither but a very small part of me is asking would we be flying over Libya if their oil reserves were exhausted?
