Seeing a WWII sub underway like that, even for a short time, is really a touching sight. It's like a little piece of history coming alive! Great ships both of them, of course.

But was she proceeding under her own steam?

No, keep the tower, we have examples of pure WWII fleet boat configs, we need to preserve the GUPPY configs like Torsk and Cavalla, too.

Tug boat pulled. The prop is in Philadelpia at a submarine memorial.
