Any thoughts on the referendum?
The vote is on a few amendments to Mubbaraks amendments of the constitution.
The Yes crowd are saying do these amendments then draw up a whole new constitution after an election.
The No crowd are saying draw up a whole new constitution before any election.

There is merit in both arguements, but the No vote would delay any elections for a hell of a long time and so would mean a much longer period of military rule.

Well I would hope the yes side win-better to get elections ASAP because I know from other countries experience that deciding on a constitution can take a hell of a long time and the shorter time the military stays in charge the better.
