Interesting Item

Was looking for a suspension loop for an old Orden and came across this interesting little item: Having grown up in a Navy town seeing sailors walking around with these types of hats all the time. Have seen some Pearl Harbor survivors and a few vets that have either the Purple Heart Order hat or just the hat with the Purple Heart on it. At any rate, never thought I'd see that show up on one of those types of caps.

Pretty neat, but I'll bet the number people qualified to were one of those today, is extremely low.
