I'm New!

Hi folks! I've been lurking for years but finally decided to join. I've been completely out of the PC gaming hobby, or any other gaming for that matter, for five years and I'm just getting back into it.

I bought a new gaming machine from Cyberpower, AMD Phenom II 1090T 6-core, ATI Radeon 5870, 8GB Ram, etcetera, and I'm starting to gather the sims again. I fly flight sims, play tactical sims, a little "Total War" strategy, some armor sims, and I love naval sims. While I limit my other game titles, I'll buy every naval sim I see, and I'm always open to recommendations.

I'm retired from the U.S. Navy after being 100% permanently and totally disabled in the line of duty, and I now involve myself with Disabled American Veterans and Veterans of Foreign Wars, both of which I belong to as a Life Member.

I'm married with a wife and two children, daughters eleven and sixteen. My wife works for a non-profit organization that helps military families and veterans with unmet needs.

We live in Oklahoma and have two horses, a couple of dogs, two cats we rescued that were dumped out front, and I play the guitar and like to fish when I can.

I'm looking forward to keeping up-to-date with the naval sims by hanging around with the experts (that would be you guys).
