I believe the line about submarines is that 100 men go down and 50 couples come back up.

Seen it with my own eyes. When I was stationed in Norfolk, VA there was a reason all the subs were placed on the other end of the base away from us surface ships

Love it! I'm involved with an online flight sim squad and one of our members is currently serving on subs in the RN....... Always teasing him about things like this.
