Default How to show/hide GUI? Opening Tube doors...

I'm wondering if there's anyway to completely hide the GUI and txt box so I could have a full screen, while activating commands be keyboard. This would basically complete the immersive feeling for Silent Hunter III with currently at least for me the mods I have installed. I'm also wondering if there's a TDC or a way to manually open/close doors with read-back crew taking the commands.

Any help? Sorry I know I have been asking a lot of questions

The numberpad Del key hides the GUI and you should be able to open and close the tubes by clicking the switches located above the Weapon Officers Station or in the Conning Tower.

I also should have said that Q opens the tubes. You can select each tube and hit Q for each one if you want them all open, or use the salvo and it will open each tube selected for that salvo. Personally I never use salvo, as I like to place my shots rather than mess with spread angles etc.
