the best description i can think of is the area forward of the sound station / captains quarters where the table, and benches and all the photographs - where they sit and eat and shoot the bull and generally hang out.

whatever the hell you call that - i been trying to think of the name for 20 minutes

..others may be able to correct me if I'm wrong about this, but if I understand you correctly such a mod would require one to make signisifcant changes to the submarine mesh, import new objects and bake new texture/normal/bump/specular maps to those areas.

Bottom line being all such mods would need the import/export tool Privateer is pioneering for the GR2 format, without using GR2 licensed code.

Remember someone was going to construct an Wardroom compartment, but believe the project has now been scrubbed. Although would of been a popular addition.
