I only registered to be able to download a certain file...

I bought Silent Hunter III in a Steam sale a while back, can't exactly remember. I never played it and it lied dormant in my Steam library.

I was heavily interested in submarine warfare after I read Red Storm Rising and the Hunt for Red October by Tom Clancy but I didn't really think about playing SH3 because it was set in WWII and the subs Red Storm Rising and the Hunt for Red October were nuclear-powered Los Angeles class subs.

When Steam added the recommendation feature, one of my friends wrote a small review for SH3 and that was when I decided to try it out.

Complicated as hell game but it is pretty fun!
