Default Clinton endorses Tax Deal

http://content.usatoday.com/communit...-on-tax-deal/1

Two things strike me as odd:

1. All the scuttlebutt indicated that these two guys really didn't get along. Now, I know that Clinton is a very strong card to play, and that is why he was there, but after Obama cast people aside and downplayed others for two years in an effort to appear 'Presidential', why would he just hand over the poduim at the White House to a political master like Bill Clinton?

This leads me to:

2. Man, did Clinton ever look and sound Presidential and authoritative. And what a contrast to the tepid and unsure Obama. Obama was very condescending in his leaving, telling Clinton that Gates would essentially 'take care of him'. Once Obama left, however, Clinton waived Gates off time and time again, making it very clear how a 'presser' was supposed to happen.

All in all, Obama was made to look very small this afternoon. This will likely not endear him to Team D, and will be blood in the water for Team R.
