someone will have an answer soon.

this is another one of those "guess and see" mysteries which none of the documentation addresses.

Put a vinyl on the turntable and crank the handle a few times

The functionality is there, but once again delivered unfinished, it lacks of the assignment to the keys. This can be done by editing the commands.cfg.

My Gramophone keys are.

[Cmd466]
Name=Gramophone_play
Contexts=1
Key0=0x47,s,""
MnID=0x3F210002
;shift+g

[Cmd467]
Name=Gramophone_stop
Contexts=1
Key0=0x4B,s,""
MnID=0x3F210004
;shift+k

[Cmd468]
Name=Gramophone_prev
Contexts=1
Key0=0x48,s,""
MnID=0x3F210003
;shift+h

[Cmd469]
Name=Gramophone_next
Contexts=1
Key0=0x4A,s,""
MnID=0x3F210005
;shift+j

You can add keys to the file and make it functional. I suspect it was to be accessed thru the radio operators dialog, but like many things, they ran out of time.

Navigate to the sh5 /data/cfg folder and open commands.cfg with a text editor; navigate to the gramophone entries and replace them with the ones listed above.

It can be added to this dialog, but it's a bit more of work, some of the aix files must be edited for such a mod.

But there is something strange with the sound man.
Look at this movie this at 06:08.
And now look at your own game by him.

See the differents.

as an FYI, if you add a keystroke to:

[Cmd561]
Name=Toggle_Activate_UserRadio
Contexts=1

you can get the user-radio back!!!

Fantastic news.

We'll make something decent out of that game yet!

How exactly would I do this? I have about 12gb of Radio mods I would love to have back. It looks a little different then the gramophone entries above.
