Is there any trick to get a country to sell you a region?

I'm knee deep in my English campaign and all I need to capture is Hannover (Prussian owned) and Denmark. The downside, the Prussians are major allies and trade partners, as are the Danes.

The Prussians won't sell Hannover, I offered my whole treasury (~18000) and they said no.

Dr Phil, what should I do? is there a way to take it peacefully, or will I need to invade. I was planning on invading Denmark as my last move of the game.
