The other day I was walking on my deck when I spotted a rat. It was sitting on the pool cover where there is a raised portion. Kind of llike sitting atop a small hill. About the only dry spot on the pool cover.
The rat wasent moving. I figured he would bolt as soon as he saw me but he just sat there. I grabbed one of those long handle leaf skimmers and reached out to the small hill. He just sat there. I banged on the cover. He moved a little confused and bewildered but just sat there. I finally scooped him up with the leaf net, placed him in a bucket. His eyes looked strange I figure he was blind and crippled. So I wacked his little head with a hammer and disposed of the poor sick little vermin. I dident want my cats getting after this obviously sick creature. How the rat got into that state I have no idea. I figured an Owl had got after him then dropped him from a couple of hundred feet and he landed on the pool cover. Why he was blind and catatonic I will never know.

Did a couple old people have sex on your deck? I don't care what you are.... seeing that would screw you up.

Could have got a small bit of poison, not enough to kill him but enough to royal screw him up. That stuff is nasty. Either that or he was air dropped by a owl.
