HELP needed!! Other Subs in German Campaign?

Ahoy Mates!

I wanted to ask if somebody could do a Mod for me which enables the 705K (Alfa) Sub in the German Campaign.
Tried it myself but could not get it working.
I have the Project 705K Mod myself, so if any one could tell me which files to change, I could also do it myself.
Any help appreciated.

hello angeldust, there will be an update for the cwss mod shortly, which will refit the ALFA. i´ll contact you when its done to tell you how to make it a german campaign standalone.please remind me, if i forget.

Thanks a lot, but I don't need a complete mod, just want to know how i get any other Subs in the german campaign, e.g. the 688i or Typhoon if I want to. the rest of the modding, speaking of Torpedoes or weapons I can do on my own.

you need to reset the .upc, .cfg and userplayerunits/.upcge files first.set the side to German in the config. replace the crewmember chapter in the upc with the files from the type9 uboat.upc. replace the 1st,2nd and 3rd crew watch list. make a backup of the userplayerunit/.upcge file of the type9. open it and insert the content of the upc file of the sub you want to add. go to the roster directory and add the roster file to the /german folder. remove the specific file from the /american folder. remember the numbers of the .upcge e.g. 12688i.upcge have to be followed by the next number, e.g. 14941.upcge.otherwise, the sails will be missing. finally, you have to add the sub to the campaign and fleet file. you also need to copy the content of the weapons, equipment, ammunition and upgradepacks.upc files into the corresponding german files, otherwise, none of your subs will have any equipment installed.

and where can i find the watch lists.

works so far, but no crew members in some compartments

you need to replace the american watchlist with the german. the watchlist is part of the submarine`s .upc file.it is located at its end inside the funcional subsystems.the crewmembers are missing because theyre not listed, the crewmemberslot-id`s of the us and german subs are different.

no, i get crewmembers, but the slots of the damage control room are missing.

While waiting for an SSN you could try my Early XXI mod for Lurker's OM supermod. It covers German operations in the Pacific & Indian Ocean. If you're in a particulary mean mood you may also want to try out my totally un-historical SuperXXI mod which boosts the XXI speeds to SSN levels. Check out the readme files for these two.
