One of the eye candy things I like about TMO 2.0 is you can actually see Lots Wife/Sofu Gan thanks to the mod by, well I forget who made it sadly.Ducimus included it but RSRD overwrites it.The map label remains but the rock itself is not there. Can someone make a quick mod to put it back or tell me how to do it.Need details. Thanks in advance.

K but little confusing to those of who do not reguarly fool around with game files, so not easy to tell what to do exactly....I enabled the Sofu Gan mod with JSGME.Opened the campaign.loc in RSRD with notepad as said, found this:
[MapLocation 459] Type=1 Priority=0 Title=Sofu Gan / Lot's Wife Heading=123.000000 OnLand=false ShowOnMap=true FirstRenderStep=false FileName2D=None.dds FileName3D=Small_Pacific_Harbor_IV.dat LocationName=Sofu Gan / Lot's Wife MinObjTerrainHeight=0 MaxObjSlope=0.000000 GameEntryDate=19380101 GameEntryTime=0 GameExitDate=19451231 GameExitTime=0 Font=FPCond18.dds FontColor=255 UseDetColor=false ZoomStart=50 ZoomEnd=1 ScaleOnZoom=true Scale1024=1.000000 Long=16842640.000000 Lat=3576380.000000 So what next? Read it and see if says if sofu gone is already in .loc file just have to " (above this part): [EditorParams] InitLongOff=-11607000.000000 InitLatOff=5980500.000000 ZoomIndex=0 Prefix= Do a search in your Campaign_LOC.mis file for: Sofu. Maybe your mod already has Sofu Gan in this file and you only need to paste in the above block of code into the file to show this model by replacing the block of code if it exists in the middle of he file etc. |

Right, the SofuGan you've enabled has a stock 1.5 campaign file in it, so first disable it.
Then you take a copy of your RSRD campaign_LOC file and copy it to the mod - let it overwrite existing file. Now open campaign_LOC and go to entry you found above and replace the data with the data from the SofuGan readme, ie your campaign_LOC should look like this: [MapLocation 459] Type=0 Priority=0 Title=Sofu Gan Heading=123.000000 OnLand=false ShowOnMap=true FirstRenderStep=false FileName2D=None.dds FileName3D=SofuGan.dat LocationName=Sofu Gan MinObjTerrainHeight=0 MaxObjSlope=1.000000 GameEntryDate=19380101 GameEntryTime=0 GameExitDate=19451231 GameExitTime=0 Font=FPCond18.dds FontColor=255 UseDetColor=true ZoomStart=50 ZoomEnd=1 ScaleOnZoom=true Scale1024=14.377808 Long=16842640.000000 Lat=3576380.000000 Height=0.000000 and you're good to go. Save campaign_LOC, enable mod again and voila! ![]() Hope that helps! /edit: Now I see you're doubleposting! ![]() But pleased to see, the answer I give above is the exact same as aanker gives you! ![]() |

![]() ![]() Just be careful when plotting course... When aanker released it, I thought "Great! Another obstacle to run into!", but it's actually very cool to use as a kind of waypoint. My navigator loves it! ![]() |
