Default antennas sticking

any idea what causes it? I searched and found this thread (post 10)

http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showpost.php?p=1492685

but it was never answered.. For some reason the watch crew isn't shutting the hatch when a dive order is given and I'm able to walk around on deck while submerged. Needle antenna is raising when I go to Periscope depth, but not at surface and the radio is just staying up. sorry if this has been discussed before.

pics are big - 56k warning.

they aren't sticking. The FX Update mod is what is causing these to act like they do (and that's how the mod wants them to act).

The radio antenna (the one you call the needle) will start to hide at ~ 25m depth. The DF loop will hide at ~ 11m depth.

The hatch problem I couldn't tell you what the problem is.

well then I got your fx mod working..

From your readme:
"Radio rod starts rising at 6.5m and is fully deployed at 13m. At 21m the radio rod will start to be undeployed and at ~26m it will be fully undeployed (hidden). As the sub submerges the radio rod will always be slightly visible out of the water until the sub's depth is ~ > 13m"

my radio rod is extending at depth only, when I surface it 'hides' again, which isn't how you describe it above.

edit for pic

yes it is. All values above are in reference to submerged depth (what your depth reads in the left side depth bar.

that is correct. The wires running fore and aft to the conning tower are really the radio antenna wires. I made the one one that looks like a periscope raise as you submerge (and just barely stick out of the water) to simulate a radio antenna.
