Default Looking fo a little help here...

Well, I have had a lot of fun in this game playing it with some realism, but I find myself looking towards just plain old munchkin fun, so I am looking to do a few small tweaks to my game...

I have made the XXI available in '39, but the lack of deck gun is annoying, but I can't make inroads on that due to my complete lack of advanced modding so I'm going with the IXD. So far I have been able to get it converted to a Flakwagon with the VII-4 and 2 quad 20s and 1 twin 37....tee hee!

A few issues and tweaks I want to do, and I need guidance from my fellow Kaleuns:

1) I need the deck gun moved forward, the breach is practicaly in the tower
2) I need to know how to change the muzzle velocity of the 105 so that a level shot can go much farther (I am calling this my "Gauss Rifle" project)

I do have s3d installed, but I can't make heads or tails of what files I need to tweak on this so any help would be appreciated.

1. Move the cfg#M01 Node forwards.
2. Change the Speed and Range of the Gun in the Guns_Sub.sim

ah yes found it....now x or y axis, imma guess that the x axis is fore and aft?

and where do I change the shell charactaristics, I am looking at shells.zon, but I cant tell which shell is what...

ok, z axis it is....escept it goes side ways on the deck as it is moved forward....huh

I did sort ou the shells though

Any modelers want a little something to do?

I actually stumbled my way to succsess! So now I have a IXD2 Flakwagen with the now gauss rifle of a deck gun not jammed into the tower.

My next just for fun question is how to get more qualifications for my crew?

I cant recall off the top of my head, but that works with WAC 4.1?

Ok, haveing waaaaay too much fun with my gauss rifle...

But, I made some other tweaks to my sub that I need to re tweak and maybe someone has figured this out and can help me;

is there a way to get the sub to stop bobbing so much at high speeds when changing depths? (I cranked the speed to 30 kts but I am like a cork when going to periscope depth, I keep losing my tower..)
