Realism = RFB with RSRDC.
But the sim itself is just that, a game, or an attempt at simulating real life and as such it has it's limitations.

There is no best, you have to find what best suits you. As stated RFB tries to be more historic, TMO is more difficult. Still, I find TMO more realistic, why some aspects are harder, it makes you think and react realistically more than RFB.
If you want realism as close as you can get, cut off cams and contacts, get rid of your sub icon and navigate by the stars, put all settings on 100% and you'll tonnage will be within realistic ranges. |

With the new radar mod and contacts off you do basically set up the TDC.
The TDC works with the radar mod and has function, although it's just a computer that accepts the info from your tracking, but it's nice to have a working TDC. The TDC is only as good as the info you put in it and you do that with your targeting measurements. Technically it works with stock, the radar mod just gives it working function. |
