faster uboats?

whenever i listen to this:

i see a fast uboat. but in this game, at least for now i hope, the uboats are very slow, doesn't look good with this music. will there be faster uboats later in the game? im only at the beginning. in das boot it goes quite a bit faster.

Well given the fact that most scenes in Das Boot were shot with a miniature, one that moved faster than it should have...

If memory serves, the fastest Uboat just barely broke 20 knots, which is around 23 MPH, so you are not going to see them skimming around like race boats.

Type VII boats are notoriously slow especially underwater. In SH5 a merchant was giving me a run for my money...on the surface!

It's nice that you 'see' a faster u-boat, but the very scene in the movie that that soundtrack comes from, the boat is shown making about 18 knots, which is as fast as any Type VII ever went. SH3 pictures it well, as does SH4. I'm betting SH5 is about right on this as well.
