Aircraft ???

Hi Guys,

Im playing my first mission on SH5 , ive noticed the british aircraft
that pass over my boat dont seem to attack or even change course.
Some have flown directly above my boat and still not reacted even
after ive shot at them.
Whats the story , am I just too early in the war or is there some problem
with my game?
Are there any Aircraft behaviour Mods ?
Have other people noticed the same ?
Has anybody actually been attacked by an aircraft ?

Use wamphyries plane mod, and you will certainly get attacked!

I used the recomended IRAi mod and its been great.

At first I was worried as I didnt see any aircraft but whilst returning
from patrol I was attacked by what looked like Swordfish , BiPlanes.
It was really exciting and I even managed to shoot one down.
The improvement in Ship Ai has allso been noticable on the same
patrol I was allmost at the exit of the chanell , returning to base
and I came accross about Six escorts. 4 seemed to be a Hunter
group and the other 2 working independantly. It was an unfortunate
coincidence too meet them all together. Pervoiusly I found that the
AI didnt detect you at all or you were doomed to death but this
encounter was great. After about 2 hrs sim time and on the verge
of taking about as much damage as my boat could stand I managed to
give them the slip. I was at the stage where I realy thought there
would be no escape.
These mods have realy made the game verry
interesting. I give many Thanks to their authors.
Ive included my mod list for anyone interested as presently im really
happy with the way the game has been performing. Thanks again to
the modders of subsim as without these mods the game is a dud.
