Default Manual TDC(AoB)

So after watching a manual TDC tutorial on a youtube for SH5 I figured something out and tell me if Im right here on this. To determine AoB all you need is his course, and draw a line. then using a protractor on that course, youd draw from the direction he is heading in, to his bow, then to your bow right?? Lol just a thought but Im glad I can now understand AoB (at least I hope) now I need to get the whole rest of it down

To your (eye)bRow is more correct. It's the line of sight back to you that makes the angle. Not the bow. The correction for the forward placement of the torpedo tubes is allready done automatically. Or so it seems. My aims were never faulty enough to notice it. Or it maybe a SH5 thing, don't know as I don't have.

ok so I know how to get an intercept course, I know how to calculate a ships speed (3;15 rule or distance and time and use a nomo graph), I also know how to calculate his bearing using marks and now the AoB what else am I missing here lol

I don't know. Have you reason to believe your torpedos are missing the target?

Sounds like you are doing the AOB correctly, though I measure the angles using the centres of both his ship and my sub as that's what I picked up whilst learning it.

Certainly in SH3 if you have plotted his course, have his speed and his AOB, all you need is the distance and your good to press the big red button.
