Searching for a Tutorial

Hello,

I am searching for a tutorial how to make own ships. First i wanted to change the UV Maps of the VIIC Ship so you can make better textures. But since you have to save it as obj and import it in the Silent 3ditor, my game crashes and the new file is about 72MB and the original only 7MB.

So if anyone know where to find a tutorial or knows how to do that. Please PM me or send me a Link to the Tutorial.

Found some Threads but they were so old that no links worked.
