Help. GWX 3 Deck gun & AA gun question

Hello sailors,

I always let the crew man my guns so I only noticed that somehow I couldn't get to man the deck and anti-aircraft guns myself on patrol 7 !

I've got a watch officer in tower and guns are fully crewed with qualified sailors but hitting F10 / F11 is no joy.

I've read through the GWX3 manual quickly (very quickly I must say) but couldn't find anything about this yet. Is it normal or did something go banana in my install?
For info, running GWX3 + Res Fix + Water / Exhaust Combi V2.3. I've tried single missions and same problem...

Also, is there a way to check a config file for station's key assignments?

IIRC other people here have mentioned that they can no longer use F10/F11 to access the gun stations when they have the ResFix installed.

The icons in the slideout menu should still work, at least they do for me with ResFix installed.

TBH I never really used the F keys for that but I'm pretty sure I tried to do so after reading that others using ResFix had lost that functionality, and they didn't work for me either. But all the clickable icons for the guns still worked as normal, and I don't remember anybody else saying they'd had problems with those.

Kind of a PITA if you're really used to hitting the keyboard but at least if the other options work you can still man the guns yourself.

I seem to remember somebody talking about trying to remap other keys for those two functions but I don't know if anybody had any success with that. Maybe somebody else who's played around with it will chime in with that info.

I too suffer from the same problem and have tweaked my rez.

Haven't tried the other route yet, will do so instantly!

I think I read a discussion about using some keymapping app that would let you map certain keys to various game functions. I don't know if anyone ever used it as a workaround for the loss of F-key functionality that seems to happen with the Res Fix. But you could do a search for it and see... if nothing else, maybe it will let you map other keys to those functions if you're really hooked on using the keyboard to access them.

I'm running out of luck with my mods still running and more tweaking....
