Default Brutal accident at San Marino MotoGP race

in the Moto2 category 19 yr old Shoya Tomizawas passes away after a brutal crash where 2 other bikes ran him over.

Horrible. Always nervy when you see a rider fall off and end up in the middle of the track. This was one of those times when unfortunately the riders following behind couldn't avoid. Really sad.

Read about this the other day. Very sad so young.

Dident this touch off a firestorm about the ages of the contestants?

I seem to remember reading that this guy has been racing since he was in his early teens.

Heard about this yesterday when watching the MotoGP race. Very sad indeed, but shows its still a very dangerous sport and these things can happen.

The riders in the 125cc series are 17-18 yrs old.

Sad. MotoGP racers have balls of steel to race those two wheel rockets. Like old school F1 drivers.......
