Is it possible to sail through the Panama Canal during the time they are neutral

and it is possible to navigate through, just as Suez

I can't give you an answer about Panama, but during WWII the British armed forces were still a major presence in Egypt (despite its technical neutrality). They had a major base in Cairo and the UK actually controlled the Suez Canal per a treaty signed before the war. It remained in effect until the mid 1950s. I would expect Suez to be crawling with Tommies.

You can access the Panama canal until the US comes into the war.

Through the Suez where I have traveled, three times between the years 1940-1943 and resistance in the channel is virtually non-existent,apart from the opening of In Med. which there is little participation DD, Trawler and four land units, and then they have some V & W patrolling the way some minor lakes.

I guess that brings another question I have, Using the Suez and Panama canals, can you actually sail around the world?

Are you doing this surfaced or submerged (with unlimited batteries)?

Don't know about stock, but it's in GWX 3, although you have to be zoomed in to see it. Find Colon, zoom in, it's there.

Seems to be another GWX improvement.

I never had a desire to enter it in stock, but I did want to lurk somewhere nearby, and never managed to find anything but a valley on my chart.

When you enter the Suez Canal and go,

you must be surfaced, your average under the keel is about 4 meters, only one path out to a smaller lake, there are two land units, and then you dive to avoid detection, then the other side is monitored by two V & W DD,when you are away from your DD so, go to the surface again and continues. To answer your question about battery,I use the type IX boats, and not unlimited battery or fuel you can go down to the Red Sea and Aden von Gulf, or visit a port that Italy has taken over in Africa, for bunker fuel and Eels,I use in normal cases, 97% realist, and this does not give unlimited capacity, but try to go travel channel for fun, with patience luggage...

I did it once long time ago on the fuel limit option disabled, but You can't meet units on the pacific ocean for example, if You don't have scripted them in Campaigns CFG files, it's simple.

But you can do it without having unlimited fuel, if you make it in time

Italian Somaliland,Mogadishu under part of 1941,you can go in and get what you need,in addition to no upgrading of the boat, but fuel and eels, and then you go down to south-Africa where there are good hunting grounds

No, it is not in the stock game. It is in GWX (and every other supermod), but it was originally created as a stand-alone mod, along with Kiel and Suez, but was quickly adapted for the supermods.
