base changing weirdness

hi folks,

just a quick one: i'm on my fifth patrol, sept. 1942. finished and returning to Fremantle
finally arrived there with only 5% fuel left and it won't let me finish, a closer look reveals that the 'home port' anchor icon is suddenly on Midway.

now i know about the base changing and not receiving messages which sometimes hit the game but i never asked for a flottila transfer or anything

there was an ingame radio message about Pearl boats redeploying to midway but that's none of my business. i'm in the manilla/surabaja/fremantle taskforce and i don't bloody want to have to sail to midway!

is my game corrupted, will a reload before 'rtb' sort it out? do i have to fiddle with a savegame file to type 'fremantle' there or what?

any ideas from this cool community will be appreciated
