Trigger Maru Working?? :s

How do I know if Trigger Maru is working?

I downloaded SH4 through steam, and so had issues with trying to upgrade it manually to version 1.4
In the end, I just ended up buying the uboat missions, and I think Im now upgraded to 1.5

JSGME tells me the mod has been installed...?
Does trigger maru come with a 360 degree bearing tool?

I downloaded a separate mod, and then tried to run it, however, an information screen came up asking me if I wanted to overwrite files from TM, which lead me to believe that TM wasnt working?
Otherwise I would have the 360 degree bearing calculator already? :s
Im a bit confused!

Just tried playing the game with the 360 degree bearing mod (Overwriting some files from TM), and yeah, nothing. No bearing tool at all.

So im thinking that maybe neither mod is working?
Anyone else had issues with this? (Or through downloading steam version of SH4?)

As I recall, TMO has the 360 degree bearing mod already included. JSGME doesn't tell you specifically what is being over written, just the files that will be modified. In "general" unless you know what you are intending to do, and the consequences I would suggest not overwriting TMO files. Duci has the mod pretty well setup as is. Duci has included a pretty good readme file as well as a FAQ for TMO.

As for how you know you are running TMO, the splash screen says it all in great big letters.

Of course you should be installing TMO only after you have upgraded to 1.5 - the newer versions of TMO are no longer supporting 1.4 anyway.
