have a dell 120 newest bios etc but gets very warm then fan comes on short time,shuts off fan does,restarts when it gets hot,shuts off fan wont let fan keep running to cool instaled new fan and cleaned cpu and recompounded. showing no errors.any help appreciated thank you.

Part of the battery saving feature I am assuming working as intended.
You probably can change power saving settings somewhere if not maybe a third party app .. I know speedfan works for desktops... why not a laptop? http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php

tried speedfan dont seem to matter.enviroment 80F 60Humity,it kicks in now after pushing it hard-game sh4,funny now it runs like its supposed to.did nothing else but that-game strange but much better.thanks for help not sure what changed
