Default (1) Printable Recognition Manual, (2) Time compression only on chart

Two questions - any help/comment appreciated:

(1) I've converted/cut-and-paste in-game DDS ship profile images into a printed PDF version of a recognition manual, but I'm a bit puzzled why I can't find an existing version on the interweb. Have I missed something obvious? This printed manual has become a bit more useful because I've included the North Atlantic chart, nomograph and speed/distance tables.

(2) Time compression while in 3D view seems to me fundamentally flawed (i.e. with the waves jumping up and down or the crew zipping around at high speed). To me the obvious (ha ha) solution would be to limit the time compression to "full screen chart" mode. I'm careful to use it this way anyway. Is there are way to make this more automated, e.g. if I click TC+1 the fullscreen chart automatically fills the screen?

cheers - Bamzors

With TDW's editor for NewUIs you can choose TC levels for crew animations, don't think you can auto teleport to chart view tho' (might be worth a word in TDW's ear).

thanks for the helpful replies... I've checked out the SOAN info here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=181007 and that'll help provide info to go into my printed recognition manual.

So it seems clear there's no printable version of the SOAN/ERM - seem strange but true I guess.

Look here: http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...32&postcount=1

But, it´s in german. You read and find the Link under "Erkennungshandbuch".
