Survivors

Hey guys,
I was thinking about having a mod in Silent Hunter IV where we have more survivors instead of the usual dinky lifeboat with a half dozen sailors in it.

My idea is that with existing animations, we can have a mod where sailors jump into the water from the ship when it's sinking from being hit by torpedoes or deck gun shells from your submarine. The sailors will swim in the water, using the same model that downed pilots in in SH4 use when they land in the water after being shot down, except with sailors.

The sailors will just float in the water like real sailors do and swim towards your sub. I want to see more survivors from ships because I think that it would be more realistic to see sailors swimming in the water from shipwrecks.

In a real shipwreck,
sailors would just jump off the ship into the water

and swim to safety, hoping not to go down with their ship. The silent hunter experience would be enhanced by having these sailors swim in the water and act like real sailors do after a ship is sunk.
