This mod is an attempt at reducing banding in the sky.
All material used to make this mod was made by reaper7. I have taken his original work, done some testing/tweaking to maximize the benefit from it and packaged it up into a JSGME compatible mod. So credit must be given to my friend reaper7 Specifically what reaper7 did was blend the texture used in rendering the sky better. And, what I did was decompress the .dds file that reaper7 made, which has the effect of even less banding. Many believe, and may say that the sky_pac_hdr.dds is not actually used in rendering the sky, and that only shaders are used. However, quite a few people have tested this and have reported significantly less banding(I have noticed it too). It would make sence, since it is a .dds file, and SHIII and SHIV did not use .dds format, therefore it must be a SH5 specific thing. Also, shaders are used to modify the color/hue/etc. of textures, not completely render something in game. Known issues: none, testing by others was done. Known JSGME conflicts: None I recommend using this mod along with Env 2.5, as together sky banding is ALMOST totally eliminated.
