[REQ] Captains Log

It would be nice to keep a running log from day to day. There is already a Captains Log which keeps a running tab of the ships sunk but that's all. A simple mod that could add to that a Date/Time/Position/ stamp and place it chronological in the Captains Log would be great.

The Time/Date/Position/ stamp is already added when you send a status report. I wish it could be duplicated in the Captains Log too or entered without sending a message.

How about being able to transfer any information in the HUD dialog to the Captains Log at will?

Example;

Date | Time | Position | Weather

Date | Time | Position | Warship spotted

Date | Time | Position | Identify Target

Date | Time | Position | Damage Report

Date | Time | Position | Diesel fuel reserve down 50

Is this doable for someone skilled in modding?
