Is there a way to set the Gyro angle of the torpedo alone? Or does this happen when a firing solution is a determined?
When I line up (using the target map, in US campaign) the gyro angle appears to be determined. In German campaign it seems to be fixed and will take the torpedo in an entirely different direction form where teh tubes are pointing. I know I am doing something incorrectly, but I would like to be able to set the Gyro angle to what I determine it to be..is that doable in SH4 UBM/OM? Regards, Royce |

I don't beleive there is any way to simply adjust the gyro angle directly on a torpedo. That said, if you understand how the TDC works, indirectly setting the gyro angle to a given setting via the TDC inputs is easily done. In other words, you can't just point and click on a single dial to set a gyro angle, but you can accomplish the task by pointing the scope in the desired direction and inputting the necessary range and speed to get the desired result.
