Default [REL] Type 7 Super Turms v2 - (With Lightmaps)

Hi chaps,

Thanks to the genius of Flakmonkey I have uploaded a new version of my Type 7 Super Turms mod which now includes new Type 7c1 Exterior Lightmaps very kindly produced by Flakmonkey,

Download Link:

http://www.filefront.com/16231847/Ac...ns_2010%29.rar

Readme:

Greetings,

This mod combines entries from three mods into one so that you can have Flakmonkey's Twisty Periscope, Privateer's Turm emblems Your Way and Anvart's Flag and Pennants and DF Antenna all at the same time as well as Tarjak's Historic Emblem Pack and a big bonus courtsey of Flakmonkey who has very kindly produced new Type 7c1 Exterior Lightmaps.

When enabled the Type 7b1, 7b2, 7c1 (with lightmaps) and 7c8 Turms (conning towers) will display the above. Please see the enclosed documentation for the Turm Emblems Your Way and Historic Emblems mods for more details of how to customise your own emblems.

The mod should be enabled in JSGME after Anvart's Flag and Pennants and DF Antenna (GWX_DFa-Flag&Pens_2010).

Note: This mod is also compatible with the Waterstream+Exhaust Combi V2.3 for GWX3 mod which should be installed first.

If you are using my "Aces' Multimod compatability fix release v1.1" simply activatel the Type 7 Super Turms v2 mod AFTER the above mod.

Thanks to:

Flakmonkey for his permission to incorporate his Twisty Periscope mod and for producing the custom Exterior Lightmaps for the Type 7c1.

Anvart for his permission to include parts of his Flags, Pennants and DF antenna mod.

Privateer for his permission to incorporate his Turm Emblems Your Way mods.

Tarjak for his permission to incorporate his Historic Emblems Pack,

Thanks mate but it is really Flakmonkey that should get the thanks for this one as he very kindly produced the new type 7c1 lightmaps to go with Privateer's Turm Emblems Your way3D models.

I did sink a nice freighter , just got to love those Urfisch effects.

I've now got the all-in-one Turm that I've been wishing for for ages.

Cheers chaps

Hi chaps,

Here's a few pics of what's coming in Super Turms v3.0

I'm trying to make the most of my free 30 day trial with Maya, it's fa\r to expensive for me to buy.

As you might notice, apart from the new lightmaps for the twisty perscope, the DF antenna and the rod antenna I've managed to port over Testpilots new UZO (not lightmapped yet, I'll be doing that tomorrow) and would like to include it subject to his permission. Magic mate, maybe ou could ask him on my behalf on the German forum.

Best Regards

Aces

This is indeed looking superb, its great to have all these mods together and compatible, i think mod conflicts are the one of the biggest modding headaches, so its nice to see everything working without conflicts

OMG superb work Aces, can I ask a question mate ? What screen res and or AA setting are you running ? The radio antenna looks almost circular rather than an old threepenny bit. Keep up the amazing work ( I know I'm kinda showing my age there ). YAAAAAAARRRR ! Just noticed something spookey, we are both from london with almost the same post tally

Best regards.

Thanks chaps,

Looks like everything is working as intended need to test more in capaigns but both SMs and campaigns are looking good. Had the usual issues with duplicate ID in the turm 7c8 but sorted them out, takes about 30 minutes a go to test and bug fix every campaign mission start so slow work.

Here's a couple of the latest screnies withh Testpilot's UZO, the DF antenna, Rod Antenna and Twisty Peris all lightmapped.

Hi mate,

I run at 1024x768 and I am using an NVidia GTX260 with N-Hancer. I'm a bit tired tonight so will post my N-Hancedr settings tomorrow when I get in from work.

Cheers
