So how do I reset the data value on the TDC? I find that I keep the solution weeks even after the last engagement.
Personally I like to start with a fresh solution since I'm new and can't manipulate the solution as easily as I'd like

simple, lock onto a ship, turn TDC on, and then OFF, unlock ship, relock on ship, turn on TDC...
again: LOCK--> TDC ON--> TDC OFF--> UNLOCK--> LOCK--> TDC ON.. this should have new readings.. either ways you are also left with the dot method.. Take care to check the depth settings since they get stuck sometimes.. also, AoB setting starboard not triggered unless clicked on port, then starboard (upper right quadrant).. I think this is intentional, since these devices were unreliable at the time.. or maybe battered by shells so malfunction every once in a while.. WHAT???!!! like fresh start off base?? yeah...

By not resetting you can lower your scope to remain undetected and keep settings between views or keep the same settings for all ships in a convoy.

Thanks for the info guys;
Also if you don't want the 1-2-3 symbols there is a mod that removes them..
