Default Just bagged my first capital ship....

Well, I did do a in character post in the appropriate thread, but I just had to brag, I just bagged my first capital ship, the HMS Ramillies, I came across a task force that was going to pass already within 6000 meters of me in a dark night, I took a long range shot at about 4700 meters and one or two (I think two) of the Torpedo's hit home, and it slowly sunk to the bottom, the escorts didn't look far enough so I didn't even get a heavy depth charging. And since it was December, I guess it was a Christmas Present to BdU.

Thank you all!

Funnily enough, normally I load about six electric eels on my boat, but I forgot to load them and had a full loadout of steam torpedos, and it was a blessing as I couldn't have taken the shot I did with e-eels due to the range.

It was also a unique shot as I had to find a hole between the South-hampton class and a tribal class that was part of the screen, of course it was a high quality shots on those two boats, and on a normal day, a South-hampton and a Tribal would be a good day, but when you have a battleship there, you have to take your shots and hope.

Of course, I am sure it was funny to see my face, I was eating a pizza and drinking a soda when I see "Revenge class" and senddenly was like as this was only the 2nd battleship I had ever seen though my scope. (I saw the Hood before, but it was at 19k meters just as I was being forced to break off a attempt of a harbor raid...)

Of course, I saved the game as soon as I saw the revenge as I didn't want a CTD to ruin it, and now I wonder if I can set it up as a Single mission, to see what other Kaleun can do, (and so I can replay it over, to see if I can do better)

Well, you'll encounter other capital ships and BBs if you are lucky, in the right moment at the right place (like the Bismark's hunt), or even inside convoys and TFs of course.

One of the places where I've met many Battleships and even liners is the Med.
