Shadows

Okay ill keep it short, I play Sh5 with everything on the highest, except shadows, cuz when I run everything high (except shadows) the game runs very smooth, when I run everything on high (included shadows) my game runs, well kinda crappy. even when i put everything on low except shadows my game still runs crappy (read slow)

Any solution?

Have you patched your game to 1.2. That update addresses the shadow performance issues.

Well an obvious solution would be to buy a new video card

By the way, what's your current setup ?

Another solution would be for someone to do an "ugly but fast shadows" mod, so you can play with shadows, even though ugly shadows. I can help with that

I play with medium shadows, all else high. That gives me reasonably good performance (well, not as smooth as without shadows) and shadows look decent for me. I have 8800GT and considering new harware... Maybe GTX 470...
