Default A patch on one eye?

The last couple of months or so, I've noticed that I squint my right eye while opening my left. I can see that my left eye is seeing a lot more clear than my right. I even noticed in the mirror under low light that the pupil in my left is larger than my right.

Do you think I'm going blind in my right eye?

(I'm not kidding in this post)

Don't be foolish. Instead of asking for useless opinions here, you should make a date with your eye doctor - after "a couple of months" I wonder why you haven't already been there. He will not just think out an opinion, but hopefully know once he has examined it.

Agreed, I would go to a ophthalmologist asap.

Thanks, I'd do that, but my eye's are ok. I'll get glasses again in several months.

You see Skybird, you motivated me to do something about it.

That's why you have the symptoms you decribed, eh?!

That was the intention. I see the chance you avoid the doctor because you fear the possibility of being told some bad news. But what you say actually could hint at a major threat: "could" means - it could, though it must not.

Don't wait for those months passing by, go now. At least if you do not live by a motto of "if I loose one eye, I still have the other".

He said he has some kind of limited visibility or clearness in that eye. The wider pupil could mean that lesser light than needed reaches the retina, the cause may be the same that limits his clear vision. That could hint at problems with the lense, or the "glas" inside the eyeball, or the retina itself. And that is why he should not take it easy, but should consult a specialist asap instead of asking us amateurs or waiting another couple of months.

Doctor or not, I'm with Skybird: Get them checked NOW!

If not sooner.

I'd get them eyes checked out pronto. After all, how are you going to read our posts clearly with only one eye?

you are asking a bunch of strangers on an internet forum important questions like that?

Ok, I'll bite, the right eye has gangrene!! Have it removed immediately......

(...)

just kidding, on top of the other advice, how old are you?

I'm turning 55 this year and my eyesight has been going downhill for years, on top of being nearsighted, I now need bi-focals to read, but still wind up either holding the text at arm's length or six inches away, I increasingly have to squint to read small text, I have trouble seeing well when driving down a dark, unlghted road, the lights of oncoming cars momentarily blind me (which I am used to, but drives my wife nuts)....
...but at least I can still get a hard-on which is the only thing that really matters if you are a man...
