What am I Doing Wrong?

Hello fellow submariners!

I'm trying to use the editor that comes with the game and I seem to have a problem. I can select a submarine, and ships, but when I go to check what side they are on (Allied/Axis) the box is grayed out. and when I run the map I created in the game the enemy doesn't even attack me like they are supposed to do.

I created a scenario where I was supposed to attack this huge British convoy with my German Submarine, and the convoy was supposed to be protected by air cover. I start the game and the air cover not only attacks me but blew the crap out of the convoy they were supposed to be protecting. The same thing also happens in Silent Hunter IV.

What am I doing wrong?????

Please help!!!

Check the dates for when said countries are allied or axis.
