Another Newbie Question...

I am running SH3 with GWX and Sub commander 3.2

If you start in the first month, it states that you should go on a five day shakedown cruse and then return to base...

However, for some reason, Unless I am installing gear something, I do not advance even a single day in the "pre-war" days (works fine in post war dates, I wait the 28 days or the random number of days depending on what is checked.

I've never encountered that problem. Does it only happen with a particular flotilla/base, or does it happen with all three?

it appears to be a one time problem, as I can't get it to repeat with the same problem.

If you choose the 7th Flotilla out of Konigsberg you are tasked with practicing against s small convoy (you are given extra renown for sinking what at this point are netrals).

I am presuming you have SH3 Commander installed and set to 20 days in port after a patrol (IMHO the best way to play the game).

On the fourth day you should receive a radio message calling you back to base.

Now teleport back (Esc key) and immediately apply for a transfer to 1st or 2nd Flotilla.

Your next (2nd) patrol should commence on 24th August which allows you to sail to your assigned grid unhindered, prior to the commencement of hostilities which is what happened in RL.

I have sub commander, but I had it set to 28 days, I will be adjusting it to 20 days tonight. I started my new guy on the 1st of september, but the next one I will be doing the aug 1st start. (along with bumping up realism up a notch or three)
